- Born in Sydney. Had a charmed child-life. Always an Artist. Studied anywhere, everywhere. Sucking up knowledge where ever it was available. Read. Studied other Artists. Painted and experimented. Moved to Brisbane in 1985. Worked and found the Brisbane Institute of Art. Went back to them many, many times when I lost direction or needed to be among other artists. Had a baby along the way. Worked with Majena Mafe and became true to my craft. Lived in the United States for 6 months in 2006/7 and weather helped me to focus. the people and landscape influenced me, and isolation from my own "known" allowed me to expand my work and thought processes. Currently I am building a new studio and a severe lack of space is changing the way I work - yet again.
